My beloved Kent State Golden Flashes came pretty close to the upset of the year last night as they lost to Duke 72-67. Despite not having the top players and being in Cameron Indoor Stadium and turning the ball over too many times to count, they still had a chance to beat Duke. The last time I saw them play this well was in 2001 when they made it to the Elite Eight. On the way, they beat Oklahoma State, Alabama, and Pitt. Kent was a ten seed that year. We're probably going to be seeing this team again in March, and not in the NIT.
